Dr. Aldo Núñez is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist, internationally renowned robotic pelvic surgeon, Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery, specialist in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and board-certified in Obesity Medicine. He proudly serves as Chief Medical Officer/ CEO of Vida Women’s Health, Dr. Núñez blends world-class expertise with a deeply personal, patient-first philosophy. Known for treating every woman like family, he provides compassionate, customized care that empowers women at every stage of life all in a modern, state-of-the-art setting
Dr. Aldo Nunez was born and raised in one of the largest cities in South America, Maracaibo, Venezuela.
Dr. Nunez always wanted to be a surgeon and started medical school in Venezuela at The University of Zulia. He graduated with honors and started his first job as a physician in 2010. Dr. Nunez completed a two-year Asistencial Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at one of the most important hospitals for underserved patients in a city with a population of almost 5 million people as part of his preparation for his residency in the United States. During that time, Dr. Nunez exhibited his broad range of skills in managing patients in elective and emergency situations. He demonstrated his outstanding surgical skills and integration with the other department members.

Due to decreasing academia and lack of the opportunity to grow as a surgeon, Dr. Nunez decided to take the adventure and leave everything behind, including family and friends, to pursue his dream of becoming an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in the United States. After years of hard work and exceptional training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, he accomplished all his goals, and his dreams came true.

Dr. Nunez speaks multiple languages, including Spanish. He is established with his spouse in the Detroit Metro area, which he calls home, thanks to the people, the culture, and his patients. He is also an international speaker, teaching and demonstrating his surgical skills, techniques, and knowledge to other doctors worldwide.
When Dr. Nunez is not providing exceptional care to his patients, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and loves to keep an active lifestyle. He enjoys various activities, including hiking, exploring, traveling the world, and learning from other cultures while getting to know people and creating new friendships.
